Please note: 'Bismarckstraße' exists three times in Duisburg.

  • If you are using a GPS/navigation system, please make sure to enter the correct zip code '47057' (NOT 47198 or 47229).
  • In case your navigation system is unable to locate the correct ‘Bismarckstraße’ search for large streets nearby with the same zip code:
    • ‘Mülheimer Straße’ (crossing ‘Bismarckstraße’) or
    • ‘Sternbuschweg’ (running parallel).

Getting to mimoOn by car

To get to Duisburg by car you may use the highways A 3 (from Köln/Cologne), A 40 (from Venlo), A 40 (from Dortmund) or A 2 (from Hannover).

  1. Leave the highway at the exit ‘Duisburg-Kaiserberg’, which is located at the highway interchange ‘Kaiserberg’.
  2. Turn left at the traffic light.
  3. Follow the signs ‘Duisburg Zentrum’ and turn right onto ‘Mülheimer Straße’.
  4. Turn left at the fifth traffic light onto ‘Bismarckstraße’.
  5. Follow the ‘Bismarckstraße’. The TecTrum where mimoOn is located can be found after about 200 meters on the left.

Getting from Düsseldorf Airport to Duisburg Central Station

  • Trains to Duisburg depart every couple of minutes. For itinerary check the homepage of 'Deutsche Bahn'.
  • Get off the train at 'Duisburg Hauptbahnhof' after a trip of approximately 10-20 minutes (depending on the train).

Getting from Duisburg Central Station to mimoOn

  1. Follow the signs ‘Bus- /U-Bahn Zentrum’ to the end of the platform and go downstairs.
  2. Turn right and follow the signs to ‘Bussteig Ost’.
  3. Take either bus ‘924 – Sportpark’ or ‘926 – Uni Nord’. Often there is a bus ticket included in your train ticket.
  4. Get out at the bus stop ‘Oststraße’, which is located directly in front of Campus Duisburg of the University of Duisburg-Essen. You are now at ‘Bismarckstraße’.
  5. Turn left and cross ‘Memelstraße’ nearby the restaurant ‘Döner Haus’.
  6. Follow the street for about 50 meters until you are in front of the TecTrum.

Getting from Duisburg Central Station to mimoOn on foot

  1. Leave the main station via the east exit.
  2. Walk to the bus stop in front of the cinema and cross the ‘Neudorfer Straße’.
  3. Walk through the gap under the green building.
  4. You should be on ‘Kammerstraße’. Walk on until you cross ‘Bismarckstraße’.
  5. Turn left and follow the street for about 500 meters, cross the ‘Memelstraße’ nearby the restaurant ‘Döner Haus’.
  6. Follow the street for about 50 meters until you are in front of the TecTrum.
